SAIL Adirondacks

SAIL Adirondacks (SAILADKS) offers the region's only full-time crewed sailing experience on Upper and Lower Saranac Lake.

Captain Barry Brogan, who has over 50 years of sailing experience and is a US Coast Guard and New York State-credentialed charter boat captain, is your host aboard their classic day-cruiser O'Day 23 sailboat.

Their O’Day 23 is a relatively small boat that accommodates up to 4 passengers plus crew. Guests often help with the sailing and get to know the crew as they share their excitement and enthusiasm for sailing on the beautiful Saranacs.

On Lower Saranac Lake (May and June), they depart from the Saranac Lake Marina. On Upper Saranac Lake, they use the dock at the end of Old Dock Road/Indian Carry Fishing Access as their pick-up site.  They use a small zodiac inflatable to ferry passengers to the boat from the dock with a 2-foot step up to the boat from the dinghy.  All of their charters are private with only your guests on board.
