For nearly 140 years and generations of family, we have catered to the public as one of the last original Adirondack Great Camps still open to the public with a 1920s Speakeasy. This enables us to provide you with authentic experiences, both new and timeless, in a stunning setting.

In one evening, you can explore the Adirondack life of the pioneers; imagine yourself as a Speakeasy patron and an Adirondack Great Camp guest as you savor dinner in the Stagecoach Dining Room.
Myths & Legends of Ancient Tonics
Tonics from the gods, the elixir's by the ancient shamans, rations for the pyramids, beer as gold, a savior of the people. Join us for a 30-minute tasting and exploration of the myths and legends of ancient tonics and how they shaped what we drink today.
History of Food Tasting Experience
Taste your way through history with a five-course dinner! Our expanded History of Food reaches back to the origins of various foods, how food shaped history, the myths and legends of their healing power, and how the hunt for certain foods formed the quest for world discovery, created our way of life, and associations with people and cultures.

Harvest Wagon Rides
Ride a Pioneer Wagon with Lucky Clover Farm and authentic draft horses through the woods and to the shores of Lake Clear. Get dropped off at the 1920s Speakeasy, then meander to the Stagecoach Dining Room for an Octoberfest-themed pub dinner.

Specialty Fall Foliage Stagecoach Rides
Relive the Lodge's beginning as a Stagecoach Inn by riding an authentic 1800s Stagecoach through the woods and to the beach...but watch out for those 1800s Adirondack Highwaymen! Continue your journey in the 1920s Speakeasy, then meander to the 1886 Dining Room for a Taste of Germany Dinner.
Taste of Germany Experience Dinner
Start off in the 1920s Speakeasy Rathskeller, explore the hidden Beer & Wine Cellar with a large variety of Old World Wines and Beers from around the world. Savor authentic German dishes from Ernest’s side of the family from Heritage Chicken Schnitzel to Old World Roulade.

Sleigh Ride Only
Enjoy an Adirondack sleigh ride from a local farm through our Adirondack woods! Group experiences are approximately 30 minutes long and are shared with other guests.
History of Beer Workshop & Tasting
A 30-minute workshop that takes you through the History of Beer! While you learn, sample 6 different craft import brews from around the world and travel through time through the three revolutions of beer. Must be 21 years of age or older with ID to participate.
Lantern-lit Sleigh Ride + Speakeasy Dinner Experience
Our most popular winter experience! Experience a horse-drawn Sleigh Ride from a local farm, then explore one of the last original Adirondack Lodges with a 3-course Speakeasy Dinner. You'll need a password to get in, and we might even be raided by a 1920s Copper!

A 30-minute workshop about the history of spirits, when it started, and why! Were spirits always called cocktails? Highlighted by a tasting of unique variations of our "Giggle Water" spirits.

Join Ernest Hohmeyer for a 30-minute experience about the history of beer, replete with a tasting of 6 beers from around the world! The topic changes monthly, corresponding with seasonal beers and trends, but you can always count on interesting conversation and tasty beverages.
Lantern-lit Sleigh Rides
The only lantern-lit sleigh rides in the Adirondacks! Meander over nature trails and to the shores of serene Lake Clear, lit by real kerosene lanterns, and get dropped off at the 1920s Speakeasy.
1920s Speakeasy Dinner Experience
Explore one of the last original Adirondack Lodges with a 3-course Speakeasy Dinner. You'll need a password to get in, and we might even be raided by a 1920s Copper!
Block Therapy Classes
Join co-owner and executive chef Cathy Hohmeyer, a Certified Block Therapist, for this unique and simple exercise process that all ages and stages can learn and do almost anywhere, anytime!
Fireside Chats
The Lodge is now the oldest operating family lodge in the 6 million acre Adirondack Park. Beginning in 1886 and spanning 4 generations, we have lived through the early pioneering days, the Cure Cottages period and the birth of the Grand Hotel era.
