Relive Adirondack History
Not only are we now the oldest continually operating Great Camp in the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park, but the Lodge began as an 1800s Stagecoach inn & post office - and you can relive those days! Ride with Lucky Clover Farm on a Adirondack farm wagon or - an authentic Stagecoach - as it journeys through the Lodge's wooded trails and to the shores of picturesque and serene Lake Clear in the window of New York State's only wilderness canoe region.
But beware! You may be robbed by those Adirondack pioneering bandits!
If you make it through, be sure to have the password to get in through the hidden door to an original 1920's Speakeasy and hidden beer and wine cellar. Then meander down a covered walkway to experience the original Lodge Old World menu in our Lakeview Great Camp as you view one of the world's most inspiring mountain-lake sunsets. A romantic interlude for couples and fun for families, just be sure to hide your valuables from those bandits!
Lucky Clover Farm offers Wagon Rides and Authentic Stagecoach Rides on our trails, which are 25-minutes from Lake Placid and 15-minutes from Saranac Lake.
